[toggle title=”Regulatory Environment”]

One of the major benefits of company incorporation Estonia is the liberal business environment the country offers. The regulatory environment facilitates international trade with almost no tariff or non-tariff barriers, no restrictions on the repatriation of capital and earnings, and no exchange controls or restrictions on foreign investment. Additionally, companies can be in full foreign ownership and there are no limitations on the investment of foreign capital in an Estonian business.

Tax regulations are strict however, so complete compliance with these is necessary to avoid severe penalties.

[toggle title=”Banking Facilities and Financial Incentives”]

Estonia offers a well-developed local banking infrastructure which provides the principal banking facilities for company and individual finances. However, Estonia is not advanced in banking and so companies looking for state of the art commercial facilities will unfortunately not be rewarded here.

Aspects of Estonia such as its liberal business regulations, low labour costs, and full foreign ownership of companies are attractive for foreign companies looking to incorporate in the country. However, Estonia does not offer financial incentives for businesses starting up there.

[toggle title=”Staff Recruitment”]

Labour costs in Estonia are incredibly low compared to the EU average, as are wage costs. The work force is well educated and skilled, and widely available although the methods of recruitment are limited. The recruitment industry in Estonia has not advanced as much as other EU countries, and so the number of private-sector employment agencies is far outnumbered by official state employment agencies. Local press advertisements can also be an alternative recruitment method.
